Okay, I have to admit something. I don’t think I’ve ever been this interested in a game’s clothes before.

Cars? Obviously. Missions? 100%. The map? I could probably spend an entire evening just driving around and doing absolutely nothing.

But GTA 6 fashion? Yeah… Rockstar got me there.

The second I saw the Vice City setting, I already knew where this was going. Give me the palm trees, neon signs, ridiculous cars, late-night drives, beach roads, and that slightly-too-confident Vice City attitude—and suddenly I’m thinking about what I’m going to wear while playing the game.

And if you’ve played GTA for years, you probably understand what I mean.

GTA: Vice City had Tommy’s Hawaiian shirts. San Andreas had CJ’s streetwear. GTA 5 gave us Franklin, Michael, and Trevor with three completely different styles.

Now we’ve got Jason and Lucia.

So I started putting together outfits that actually feel like they belong in the GTA universe. Not Halloween costumes. Not those weird “official character costume” listings. Just real clothes you can actually wear, with Amazon search terms included so you can find something similar without spending an hour figuring out what the item is called.

Quick note: Not every outfit below is an officially confirmed GTA 6 outfit. Some are inspired by what we’ve seen from Jason and Lucia, while others pull from classic Vice City, GTA 5, and San Andreas. The goal is the GTA vibe, not pretending every item is an official Rockstar product.

1. Jason’s Vintage Vice City Linen Look

Let’s start with Jason because this one actually has a real GTA 6 connection.

Rockstar’s Vintage Vice City Pack gives us a strong retro direction, and the pastel linen look fits Jason perfectly. It has that relaxed, slightly vintage Florida feeling without looking like you’re wearing a costume.

This is probably my favorite GTA 6-inspired outfit for a relaxed Vice City evening. If I were meeting Jason somewhere in Vice City for a “quick job,” this is what I’d wear.

Although, knowing GTA, that quick job would probably end with five police cars chasing us.

2. Lucia’s Red Sequin Party Look

Lucia has a completely different energy. She looks confident, stylish, and like she already knows exactly what she’s doing.

Her red sequin mini dress is one of the most memorable GTA 6 fashion looks we’ve seen so far, making it an easy choice for a GTA 6-inspired party outfit.

Add gold hoop earrings, strappy heels, a small shoulder bag, and glossy red or nude lipstick.

I wouldn’t necessarily wear this for a six-hour gaming session unless you’re much more committed than I am. But for a GTA 6 launch party? Absolutely.

3. The Classic Vice City Hawaiian Shirt

Now we’re getting into the good stuff.

If you’ve played GTA: Vice City, you already know the formula. Hawaiian shirt, white trousers, sunglasses, palm trees.

You don’t even need to explain the reference.

This is probably the easiest GTA outfit on the entire list. And yes, it’s a little cliché.

Maybe you don’t want to dress like Tommy Vercetti’s long-lost cousin. Fair enough.

A retro GTA graphic tee gives you the same energy without going all-in on the costume look.

This is honestly the outfit I’d wear while playing. It’s comfortable enough to sit for hours but still looks obviously GTA-inspired.

5. Jason-Inspired White Tank + Cargo Pants

This one is simple, but I really like it.

It has that relaxed Florida feeling without looking like you’re wearing a GTA costume.

That’s it.

No giant logo. No complicated styling. No trying too hard.

6. Lucia-Inspired Crop Top and Denim Shorts

Lucia’s style has that modern Florida-meets-nightlife feeling, so a fitted crop top with denim shorts works really well as a real-life interpretation.

This one feels less like “I’m wearing a GTA outfit” and more like “I accidentally walked into Vice City.”

7. The Lazy Gamer GTA 6 Outfit

Okay, let’s be realistic.

Not every GTA fan is going to put on linen trousers and loafers before sitting down with a controller.

Sometimes you just want to play.

I couldn’t make a GTA outfit article and completely ignore Trevor. That would feel wrong.

Trevor’s style is basically, “I found this shirt and I’m not taking it off.”

And somehow it works.

Franklin is probably the easiest GTA 5 character to translate into everyday streetwear.

His style feels modern, casual, and actually wearable.

If Vice City is tropical and flashy, Franklin feels more like Los Santos streetwear.

Michael is the guy who makes you realize GTA doesn’t always mean Hawaiian shirts and cargo pants.

His style is cleaner. More suburban. More “I have a mortgage and somehow still ended up involved in a bank robbery.”

This one is for the old-school GTA fans.

Before Jason and Lucia, there was Tommy.

And Tommy’s tropical shirt look is still one of the most recognizable GTA styles ever.

13. CJ-Inspired San Andreas Streetwear

Now we’re going way back.

“Ah shit, here we go again.”

You knew I had to include it.

CJ’s San Andreas-era streetwear still works surprisingly well today.

If you know, you know.

Green is an easy way to create a subtle San Andreas reference without wearing an obvious character costume.

The early-2000s baggy silhouette deserves its own moment.

17. Miami Beach Denim Outfit

This one is probably the most wearable Lucia-inspired look.

18. The “I’m Actually Playing for Six Hours” Outfit

This is my personal reality.

Forget fashion.

Give me an oversized T-shirt, joggers, and sneakers.

19. Aviator Sunglasses = Instant GTA

This deserves its own spot because sunglasses can completely change an outfit.

Suddenly you look like you have somewhere to be in Vice City.

20. The Full Tropical Vice City Outfit

If I wanted to go completely overboard, this is what I’d choose.

This is the outfit I’d choose for a GTA-themed party because it gives you the Vice City look without looking like you’re wearing a costume.

21. My GTA 6 Launch-Night Outfit

Okay, this is the one I’d actually pick.

Not because it’s the most accurate.

Because it feels like the most fun.

For women

Red Sequin Mini Dress
White Sneakers
Gold Hoop Earrings
Oversized Sunglasses

For men

Pastel Linen Shirt
White Linen Pants
Loafers
Aviator Sunglasses

And then I’d probably end up changing into an oversized T-shirt two hours later.

Because priorities.

But for that first GTA 6 gaming night? I’d absolutely dress up a little.

My Favorite GTA Eras for Fashion

If I had to rank GTA fashion eras purely by vibe, this would be my list.

🥇 Vice City

Impossible to beat.

Hawaiian shirts, pastel colors, neon, palm trees, and that ridiculous 80s energy.

Tommy Vercetti walking around Vice City in a tropical shirt basically created an entire fashion mood for GTA fans.

🥈 GTA 6

We haven’t even played it yet, but the Vice City setting already has me interested.

Jason and Lucia bring a completely different modern Florida feeling, and I’m genuinely curious how much clothing customization we’ll end up getting.

🥉 San Andreas

Baggy clothes, sneakers, early-2000s streetwear, and obviously…

Grove Street.

You can’t talk about classic GTA fashion without CJ.

4. GTA 5

Franklin’s streetwear wins this category for me.

Michael’s clean polo-and-chinos look is surprisingly good too.

Trevor gets an honorable mention for simply refusing to care.

One More Thing I Love About GTA 6 Fashion

Rockstar has always understood that clothing can make a character feel different, and that’s one reason I enjoy messing around with GTA customization so much.

With GTA 6, I’m especially curious about the Vice City atmosphere and the different styles Jason and Lucia can have.

Because if GTA 6 gives us the same kind of freedom we’ve had in previous games—but with a modern Florida/Vice City wardrobe?

I’m probably going to spend way too much time changing Jason’s clothes instead of doing the mission.

“Jason, we need to go.”

“Yeah, give me five minutes. I need different shoes.”

That is absolutely something I can see happening.

Final Thoughts From a GTA Fan

The funny thing about GTA is that the clothes have always been part of the experience for me.

I remember messing around in Vice City and thinking Tommy looked ridiculously cool in that tropical shirt.

Then San Andreas came along and suddenly everyone wanted CJ’s streetwear.

GTA 5 gave us Franklin’s clean street style, Michael’s polos, and Trevor’s…

Well.

Trevor.

And now we’re heading back to Vice City with Jason and Lucia.

That’s why I don’t think you need an exact GTA 6 costume to get the look.

Grab a linen shirt.

Find a ridiculous Hawaiian shirt.

Put on some aviators.

Throw on your favorite sneakers.

And you’re already halfway there.

Personally, I think I’ll start GTA 6 looking like Jason, spend 20 minutes changing outfits, drive around Vice City for another 30 minutes just looking at the scenery…

…and then completely forget what mission I was supposed to do.
